Celtic midfielder Odin Holm scored his first goal for the club on Sunday afternoon against Buckie Thistle. The Norwegian was handed a rare start in the middle of the park and grasped the opportunity with both hands.
He worked an effective one-two with Matt O’Riley on the edge of the opposition box before tucking home into the bottom left corner via the post. It was an impressive finish from the 21-year-old on only his fourth start for the Scottish champions.

He would have been delighted to have netted in green and white for the first time, and it is fair to say his midfield teammate O’Riley was too.
The Denmark internationalist posted on his Instagram story after the game, giving Holm congratulations for the strike that made it 2-0 to Celtic in the match:

In his time in Glasgow to date, the former Valerenga man has found consistency rather hard to come by at certain points. From here on in, however, he will aim to kick on.
There is vast competition for places in the midfield of Brendan Rodgers’ side although Holm’s cup performance today will have done him no harm whatsoever.
