Matt O’Riley Blown Away by Parkhead Atmosphere

MATT O’RILEY has revealed he was blown away by the atmosphere as Celtic came from behind to defeat Hearts 4-1.

The Bhoys showed resilience to come back from an earlier opener from the Edinburgh side and sent fans home from Paradise happy for the second last time this season.

The Hoops won the three points, meaning they had one hand on the league title, just a point away from securing it.

This set the mood for the afternoon, with the jubilant fans singing from the terraces. The atmosphere was electric as Celtic brushed aside Hearts in a dominant display.

Matt O’Riley revealed the fans were ‘crazy’ after the match, telling Celtic TV;

“It was crazy, the atmosphere was bouncing and it was really great to be part of it and we played really well, so I’m happy.”

Next week’s atmosphere will be even better when the Hoops lift the trophy. Celtic fans have been deprived of trophy day for the past two years, but they’ll get the chance to live it up after Celtic face Motherwell next weekend.

Matt signed for Celtic straight away after the opportunity presented itself. The Hoops wouldn’t have went for the midfielder if Riley McGree agreed to join Celtic.

Hoops fans are thankful Riley decided against a move to Celtic Park
