MATT O’RILEY has reacted after Celtic bet the Ibrox club in the second Glasgow Derby of the year.
The newest addition to the Hoops has had time to settle into the club before one of the biggest matches of the season. He has previously spoken about the Celtic support, claiming it’s nothing he has previously experienced.
Speaking on tonight’s match live on Sky Sports, the Englishman had this to say on the Celtic support;
“We’ve got the best fans in the world, honestly. After that night – I’ve never seen anything like that in my life!”
The atmosphere was eclectic tonight, as is every derby. Tonight, the fans were awarded with a top-class performance that places Celtic at the top of the table.
There is still a long way to go in the season, but fans are confident. It was a great display against that season’s champions.
If performances stay like they are just now, and improve into the second half, Celtic can push for the league and bring it back home.
