Mathias Kvistgaarden Update: Brondby Demand Significant Fee

A recent update on reported Celtic target Mathias Kvistgaarden has been given. The Hoops’ interest in the player was initially noted on Saturday, and now it has been reported by Danish outlet Ekstra Bladet that Brondby wants a fee in the region of seven million euros for his services.

It is said that no concrete offers for the 21-year-old have been made as of yet and that a sale is not likely at the moment. All indications point towards this one not coming to fruition for the champions.

The Hoops shelling out a fee such as the aforementioned for a player of Kvistgaarden’s ilk seems unlikely. As well as this, Brendan Rodgers has many attacking options available to him, and a bid has been made for Honduran winger Luis Palma.

It remains to be seen how the move for the Aris Thessaloniki attacker will progress, although it doesn’t look like the Bhoys will be bringing in Kvistgaarden.
