Massive Blow as Tom Rogic Suffers Injury Setback

TOM ROGIC now looks set to be out until March after the Celtic manager confirmed it would be 6-8 weeks before the Australian was fully fit.

Earlier this month, Brendan Rodgers told the Celtic fans that Tom was close to being fit and could feature by the end of January, it now looks like we’ll have to wait a lot longer for the Scottish Cup hero.

When asked yesterday about Tom’s recovery time the Irishman replied: “Could be six to eight weeks”.

This is another major blow for Celtic who are now without Armstrong, Rogic, Hayes and Roberts in midfield; not to mention Marvin Compper is going to be out for a month.

Armstrong is not expected back until later on in February, with Hayes out the rest of the season, fans are hoping Patrick Roberts recovery continues and he can help out before the end of this campaign.

Celtic are currently very active, trying to bring in new signings before the January window closes. Rodgers is hoping for quality to come and help the team for the second half of the season.
