According to reports in Ukraine, Celtic are in the final stages of talks to bring in winger Maryan Shved.
Maryan, 21, has been linked with the club most of this window but many felt there would be no more attacking players coming in while defenders seemingly remain the priority.
However, if these reports are to be believed then Shved would become Rodgers fourth official signing.
At this moment in time, there is absolutely no news from Celtic’s end about a potential transfer of the Ukranian who has scored 8 goals in 17 appearances for Karapty this season.
The report also claims the player did not join up with his teammates as scheduled in order to conclude a deal.
Celtic are still working to bring players in but many fans will be mystified why a right back has still not come through Celtic Park’s doors thus far in the window. Another attacking option while sending Lewis Morgan out of loan wouldn’t exactly make sense.
