Marvin Compper Territory – Midfielder Told he Can Leave Parkhead after 5-months

BRENDAN RODGERS dropped the bombshell he would let Yousouff Mulumbu got out on loan so he can play games on a weekly basis.

The player was only signed five-months ago by the Celtic manager to help cover for Scott Brown. However, Callum McGregor stepping up in that position meant the former Killie man has only made THREE appearances for the club since joining.

It’s not quite Marvin Compper, but it’s in the ballpark.

Marvin is another guy who Rodgers (or someone at Celtic) thought it would be a good idea to sign only to later get cold feet and leave them floating around Lennoxtown earning a living by training.

If there is one criticism of Rodgers and his scouting team is the scattered approach before this January window has been woeful at times.

Players like Compper, Mulumbu, Benyu and De Vries all picking up a wage with very little sign of them making their way into the matchday squad. All those wages add up!
