Martin O’Neill responded to Celtic’s Ange Postecoglou appointment on Optus Sport.
The former Celtic manager seemed very positive about Ange and what he could do for the club.
He did make it clear the demands on him will be great from day one and it will be results which shape the manager’s destiny.

Ange flew into Glasgow last week to start his role. CeltsAreHere.com were a part of the fan media event on Friday. From our vantage point, the manager seemed assured and had a real presence about him.
Ange is clearly a man who will bet on himself and we need someone self assured with the knowledge to drive us forward.
Celtic don’t have a lot of time between now and their first Champions League qualifier. A short pre-season camp in Wales will be followed up by a couple of friendlies in Glasgow ahead of the new season.
O’Neill made his own history with the club and has a treble to his name as the manager. Something many might not think is that great accomplishment considering we won four on the bounce – but it was an incredible feat at the time. Every one of our trebles we’ve racked up have been insane.
