MARIAN SHVED has broken his silence on his time at Celtic thus far and vitally maintains he’s delighted to be in Scotland and is working hard to get into the side.

The winger came in with high expectations from a lot of the Celtic fan base who seen clips of the bhoy playing for his old side Karpaty Lviv. Many thought Shved would come in and make an instant impact on the team but instead, he’s been relegated to the bench and a lot of the time the stands with Neil Lennon opting for other players.

Coming into December, the Ukranian still hasn’t had a start for Neil Lennon’s side and has played a grand total of 35 minutes to this point.

Shved was called up to the Ukraine squad for a friendly this month and got some game time against Estonia midweek. He’s now looking to build on that and promises he’s working hard to become a top bhoy.

“I am happy I moved to Scotland. It’s a different style of football than what I have been used to back home.” Shved told RecordSport.

“I am working hard and learning so much.

“The coaches and manager of Celtic have told me if I keep working hard I will soon start to get minutes on the pitch for them, but it hasn’t happened yet.

“It was great for me to get on the pitch against Ukraine and hopefully I will get some minutes for Celtic soon too.”
