Marco Tilio Sports New Haircut; Debut Soon?

Celtic have had their fair share of injury issues so far this season. It is only September yet a number of key assets are spending or have spent time on the sidelines.

Indeed one bhoy who has not even stepped foot on the pitch for Brendan Rodgers’ men is Marco Tilio. The 22-year-old was signed from Melbourne City in June but has been injured throughout his Celtic career up to this point.

Recently, though, manager Brendan Rodgers has said that the winger is now training with the first team and that it is about picking the correct moment for his debut. For the Australian internationalist, said moment could be soon.

Going by Tilio’s Instagram, he could be preparing for his Hoops bow with a recent fresh haircut. On Friday, the player shared a story from Kirkintilloch-based barber The Midas Cut of himself with a clean trim:

One can speculate that the young winger is aiming to look good for his first Celtic appearance off the back of this. Fans are eager to see Tilio in action, and over the coming days and weeks, there are plenty of opportunities for them to do so.

He is not in the Celts’ European squad, so he will be limited to domestic game time as of now. This means matches away to Motherwell on Saturday or Kilmarnock at home a week later could be ideal for Tilio to debut in.
