Marco Tilio has hinted at a potential departure from the club after a difficult six-month stint.

The Australian international, who arrived at Parkhead for £1.5 million, has struggled for game time, a situation exacerbated by an underlying injury that disrupted his initial progress with the Scottish champions.
Tilio’s journey at Celtic has been challenging, with the winger managing only two substitute appearances and a total of 27 minutes on the field since his arrival. Despite being fully fit for the past four months and even earning a surprising call-up to the Socceroos’ Asian Cup squad, Tilio has found opportunities under Brendan Rodgers limited.
During a recent press conference at Australia’s training camp, Tilio reflected on his experience at Celtic, acknowledging the toughness of the period but also expressing optimism about his physical fitness and readiness to play.
“Of course from the outside it’s been tough. I obviously went to the club with an injury. But I’ve been back for four months now fully training, fully fit,” he told the West Australian.
Hinting that he might be seeking a move away for more minutes, he said:
“I probably feel physically better than what I’ve ever been in my career. So I feel really good and I’m just raring to go, ready to play and hopefully this tournament’s a chance for me to do that. I think it’s only improved me as a player being in and around that (at Celtic) every day. But overall, I’d like to get more game time and whatever that looks like, we’ll see what happens.”
Melbourne City, his former club and three-time domestic title winners, is reportedly ready to welcome him back on a loan deal.
His situation at Celtic could become even more complicated with the arrival of Nicolas Kuhn, which might further reduce his chances of regular first-team action.
