We have all been reacting to the news about Scott Brown’s departure but what have the Aberdeen fans been saying?
They are about to land a serial winner in the Celtic captain, but it has to be said, Aberdeen fans and Scott Brown have never been the best of friends.
I don’t think Broony has many pals outside Celtic when it comes to fanbases.
However, after the announcement from the Dons this afternoon there were plenty excited by the prospect of Scott Brown playing for the club next season.
Stephen Glass spoke about the quality Brown will bring to his squad and backroom team earlier today also.

For the Aberdeen support, they are split.
We’ve posted some of the many positive comments we’ve read on social media. The ones which aren’t so positive are mostly full of colourful language.
There is a section of the support who have brought up Scott Brown defending Ivan Toney during the Shay Logan race row back in the day.
At least for these Dons, they can see the potential in this signing and given they’ve not won much at all, Broony could be the catalyst for a cup winning run.

Still think this is a good bit of business. All I’ve read all season on Twitter is how we need a leader in tte middle of the park. Won’t be to everyone’s liking but can’t see any downsides to the deal.
