As we sit here seven days into July, Celtic have yet to bring in any new players, and fans are becoming growingly frustrated with the lack of transfer activity from the club.
Manager Brendan Rodgers, however, admitted after Friday night’s friendly against Ayr United that some new faces will likely be drafted in before the squad jet out to the USA for some friendlies.

Numerous positions in the squad need strengthening, with several players having been linked with moves to Glasgow this summer. One of those is Andy Rojas.
The Costa Rican wonder-kid just came back from the Copa America with his nation where he made history, becoming the youngest player in the competition’s history.
The Hoops were said to have been scouting Rojas, who is highly regarded in South America.
The 18-year-old’s club – Herediano – received a bid for him from Portugal last week, but it will take top dollar to prize them into a sale.
Manager Walter Centeno is desperate to keep him.
“I have been told if there is not a suitable offer acceptable to the club, then Andy will be staying with us”, he said (Glasgow Times).
“And I certainly hope that happens.
“He is an exceptional kid. Of course, he is just starting up in his career, but he is a huge talent.
“What I like about him is that he takes responsibility at a young age. He is going to have a big career.”
