Luis Palma has been a popular figure throughout Celtic’s preseason USA Tour.

The Honduran winger’s influence was evident both on and off the pitch, as fans from his home country turned out in strong numbers during Celtic’s pre-season tour in the USA.
Brendan Rodgers humorously noted the large turnout of supporters eager to catch a glimpse of Palma in action while he was doing pre-match media duties for the clash against Manchester City.
This was particularly evident when, despite the presence of international stars like Erling Haaland, a fan chose to run onto the pitch after the match specifically to meet Palma.

On the field, Palma is keen to elevate his game this season. Following a successful first year at Celtic where he scored 10 goals and assisted another 10, Rodgers is pushing for even more from the winger. The manager has particularly emphasised the need for Palma to enhance aspects of his game such as defensive tracking and pressing — areas that are crucial for comprehensive development and impact in Rodgers’ tactical setup.
