Major Update on January Celtic Review; Statement on the Way

Celtic Fan TV issued a surprise video on a Friday night after they received a reply from a letter they sent asking about the progress of the new year review promised by the club.

Fans have been up in arms for weeks about the silence coming from the club with many venting their anger and dismay on social media. At the time the statement was released by the club claiming there would indeed be a review, things have only gotten worse on the football side of things.

The Green Brigade have been on a banner campaign while others spam the club’s social media pages asking for answers and ultimately asking for our head coach, Neil Lennon to be relieved of his duties.

Celtic Fan TV host, Paul McTaggart wrote to the club the old fashioned way asking for the progress on the so called review.

Paul received a letter today and shared it with all of his subscribers.

The letter was issued to Peter Lawwell but it was Ian Bankier who wrote back to Paul.

Will the club be issuing a statement to the supporters?

The short answer is, yes! Ian Bankier plans on addressing the fans via a website statement when Celtic’s half term accounts are published, which for my money should be any day now.

The Celtic trust have a meeting with the club which was also pushed back because the club wanted the space to publish the half term report before they sat down with the fan group.

Well done to Paul for getting a reply but had this been conveyed to us weeks ago, through any of the club’s social media channels, there would have been much less unrest.
