Celtic head over to Ibrox on Sunday to play their rivals in the first derby of the season. However, there could be a lot of first team players out of the tie if the latest news from RecordSport is accurate.
Celtic’s opponents on Sunday are flying out for the second leg of their tie against Alashkert and are missing some top players from their side after the announcement of positive cases within the camp.

Steven Gerrard has not made the flight this afternoon along with James Tavernier, Calvin Bassey, Scott Wright, Ryan Kent, Allan McGregor and Jon McLaughlin.
Gary McAllister is set to take the team for the Europa League tie.
Right now, nothing is confirmed. This could be a misdirect from the Ibrox club who have taken the precaution not to fly certain players out just in case. However, they still have a match to finish away from home and doing so would present a great risk.
Are all the players above out of the Glasgow Derby tie? There’s every chance they could be, but it’s not a forgone conclusion yet.
Celtic have to make sure they focus on their game, we saw last season, playing a side with call-offs doesn’t guarantee you’ll get the victory. Even without these players they can still put out a good side.
