Major Euro Development as UEFA President Heads to Celtic Park

CELTIC take on Valencia tonight in a glamour tie which will capture the very best of what the Europa League can offer at this stage in the competition.

If there was any doubt about that, the news that UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin is on his way to Glasgow to watch the game live in person further proves the point.

BT Sports presenter Darrell Currie broke the news on social media that Uefa’s main man will see Celtic Park in full song this evening as the bhoys look to defeat the odds against the La Liga side.

There is no clear reason why the president is in town and Darrell along with others are speculating it could have a lot to do with Uefa’s plans to start a third Euro tournament which will see more Scottish clubs involved.

The game tonight is set to be a cracker, and the Čeferin will not regret making the journey to Celtic Park when he sees the Celtic fans in full voice.
