Major Celtic Boost; SPFL Rivals Face Goalkeeping Crisis

Hibernian are due to play Celtic next Monday and right now, they don’t have a fit first team goalkeeper to speak of.

Their first team stopper Marciano has been out injured and his stand in Dillon Barnes has just been recalled by his parent club QPR, leaving the Easter Road side with a goalkeeping crisis.

Hibs have less than a week to source, sign and register a goalkeeper for the Celtic game or they will have to go to their youth ranks.

It looks like a potential boost for Celtic’s chances; you would fancy Celtic to get among the goals against a novice goalkeeper.

Hibs can perhaps count their lucky stars Celtic requested this game be moved to the Monday instead of the weekend. Had it gone ahead as scheduled, they would have less time to find a solution. The bhoys got permission from the SPFL to move the fixture so they could fly out to Dubai.
