Maik Nawrocki is back in Celtic training, returning from an injury that has kept him out of action for a few months.

Signed from Legia Warsaw for a fee of around £4.3M in July, Nawrocki’s arrival in Scotland was met with much excitement. The 22-year-old’s reputation in Poland was that of a young player with immense potential.
However, Celtic fans have had to be patient. An unfortunate injury in the dying moments of their cup clash against Kilmarnock meant that Nawrocki’s time on the pitch has been limited.
But there’s a silver lining. Brendan Rodgers, Celtic’s manager, has provided a positive update on Nawrocki’s recovery. He said, “He’s (Maik Nawrocki) doing very well and trained over the last week or so.” [Celtic Website]
As the international break comes to an end and club football resumes, all eyes will be on Nawrocki and his return to the action.
He’s back earlier than many expected, especially after he was excluded from the Champions League squad, with the, at the time injured, Carter-Vickers included.
