New Celtic signing Maik Nawrocki has expressed his excitement about joining the club and is looking forward to meeting his new teammates.

The 22-year-old defender, who will don the number 17 shirt previously worn by Jota, is eager to start training and make his mark at the club.
He penned a five-year deal at the club, a common trend with recent signings at Celtic.
The Polish player is well aware of Celtic’s global reputation and its popularity in his home country, thanks to the club’s history of signing Polish players. He is particularly excited about the prospect of playing in front of Celtic’s passionate fan base.
“It’s great for me to have joined Celtic and I’m looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates and start training with them,” he told the Celtic Website.
“Celtic are a famous club throughout the world and, of course, they’re very well-known in Poland, having had a number of Polish players in recent years, so I know just how big this club is and how incredible the supporters are, and I can’t wait to play in front of the fans and experience that for myself.”
Last season, the 22-year-old Polish Under-21 international, Maik Nawrocki, played a pivotal role in Legia Warsaw’s Polish Cup triumph. He scored the decisive penalty in a nail-biting 6-5 shoot-out victory against Rakow Czestochowa.
Nawrocki’s enthusiasm for his new journey at Celtic is palpable, and fans will be eager to see him in action as he embarks on this new chapter of his career.
