Lustig Could Be Making A Return To Ibrox

Michael Lustig might have just left Scotland and Scottish football behind but the Swede could be making a return to Glasgow depending on European results.

The right-back was a fan favourite at Celtic Park and he liked nothing better than a win at Ibrox. His new club Gent could be on a collision course to face the Gers in the next round of qualifiers.

First Steven Gerrard’s men will have to overcome Progrès Niederkorn. You might be thinking you have heard that name before, actually, we know full well you have heard that name before. The poor mob from Govan have had to list Progrès puns from Celtic fans since they beat them in 2017.

Lustig’s new team also have to beat Viitorul Constanta if the defender is to make a return to Scotland. Gent may find their travelling support gets a bit of a boost if the tie is to happen.
