Luis Palma is set to join Celtic on a 4-year contract, a move confirmed by his current manager.

The deal is reportedly worth £500,000 a year, significantly bolstering the Hoops’ attacking options. He could’ve joined a Saudi Arabian club instead, for £1.1 million a year more, but the allure of Celtic was too big to turn down.
His current manager described the winger as a “big loss,” stating, “Luis Palma has been involved in almost every goal we have scored so far this season, so of course, he will be a big loss. I want to wish him the best of luck with his new club, Celtic. He worked so hard for our team, and Aris also helped him a lot to develop.” [Glasgow Times]
The transfer fee is said to be €5 million, inclusive of bonuses, marking a considerable investment for the Scottish club.
With Palma’s acquisition now secured, Celtic’s focus will shift towards strengthening other areas of the squad. The club is actively seeking to sign a left-back and a centre-back.
Additionally, Celtic could be in the market for a new striker and a goalkeeper, contingent on Ben Siegrist’s future at the club.
As the transfer window nears its closure, Celtic fans will be eagerly awaiting further announcements. Given the current pace of activities and the club’s ambitions, additional high-quality signings could be unveiled in the coming days.
