Celtic are set to make their THIRD January signing with reports coming out of Japan on Christmas Day that Tomoki Iwata is about to become a Celtic player.
The defensive midfielder, who can also play in defence was voted the MVP of the Yokohama Marinos side that just won the J-League.
Ange has made Tomoki’s signing a priority and has moved quickly to secure a deal for the player.

The J-League side was led to glory by the man who was recommended to Yokohama by Ange – Kevin Muscat. The former assistant to the Celtic manager won the league in spectacular fashion last season.
Tomoki looks set to replace Yosuke Ideguchi, who is set to return to Japan after a failed stint at Celtic Park.
After signing Yosuke Ideguchi and Alistair Johnston, it appears Celtic are yet again ahead of the curve.
Tomoki will sign with Celtic on an initial loan period for the rest of the season and the bhoys will have an option to buy for around £1m in the summer.
