It has been a busy few days if you follow the Celtic transfer rumour mill, the accuracy by some in the media has been pretty good in general. The outlier for today appears to be the inaccurate news report from Sporx that Celtic were linked with a successful bid for Caleb Ekuban.
Tonight, however, Celtic are being linked with Ajax midfielder Noa Lang.
The 21-year-old can play on the left or right side of a front three and has come through the ranks at the famous Ajax academy.
According to journalist Ronan Murphy, Celtic are very interested and want the player on loan with the obligation to purchase the player next season. This option is due to clubs wanting to delay large payments by a year and can give the upper hand in negotiations.
Celtic are looking to sign Ajax's Noa Lang on loan with a purchase obligation. Hertha, Sociedad, Villarreal interested in a permanent deal. Fee is believed to be around €7-8m. #CelticFC #hahohe #AFCAjax #Villarreal #AurreraReala

Celtic have made a centre-back and another striker a priority in the interim, so this rumour has come a little out of the blue.
