Loan Celt Confirms Surprise November Lennoxtown Return

ANDREW GUTMAN has confirmed he’s returning to Celtic for the month of November to train with the squad in the MLS offseason.

The Celtic loan player is currently playing for FC Cincinnati but will now head back to Glasgow where he was in the summer to continue his development.

Andrew played in pre-season under Neil Lennon before heading back to America to sign for Cincinnati. It’s likely the player will get some developmental game time in friendlies while he’s here.

Celtic have never been specific in either Gutman or Manny Perez and their situation when it comes to playing for Celtic. Both me have not played for their country at senior level and it could be a reason why the players have not been granted work permits in the UK.

When Celtic signed Gutman he was just a College soccer player but is now playing MLS football. The progression is there but it remains to be seen if the defender will ever play for the club.
