Nat Phillips has become a wanted man in the transfer market, with Liverpool setting a surprisingly high valuation for the defender.

Phillips’ stint at Celtic was forgettable, or so fans wish.
He arrived as an emergency backup, but couldn’t feature for a few games due to injury upon his arrival in Glasgow.
He struggled to secure a regular starting position even when fit, ultimately falling behind Liam Scales in the pecking order.
After returning to Liverpool in January, Phillips was loaned out to Cardiff City for the remainder of the season, where he aimed to revive his playing prospects. Now, as Liverpool looks to streamline their squad, they have placed an £8 million price tag on Phillips—a figure that has raised eyebrows given his time at Celtic.
Liverpool have rejected a £4m bid from Trabzonspor for Nat Phillips. They are understood to value the defender, who is also attracting interest from Burnley, at closer to £8m. More here: https://t.co/GEktuhX0sM

Trabzonspor, which has shown an interest in Phillips and has other former SPFL players like John Lundstram and Borna Barisic (poor fans), recently saw a £4 million bid rejected by Liverpool. Burnley is also reportedly considering a move for Phillips as they look to bolster their defensive options.
