It may be the summer window but the Ibrox fans are feeling the heat, which is not like them considering they usually claim to win the off-season trophy for talking themselves up and signing people who are ‘coming for Celtic’s title’. You only have to look back to January to show how upbeat they become when footballs aren’t being kicked!
However, Celtic ruffled more than a few of their feathers on Friday when they announced the club’s second biggest signing ever when they paraded Christopher Jullien.
The man mountain swaggered into Celtic Park and signed on the dotted line, becoming Celtic’s first signing of the summer. Before yesterday, we were treated to headlines with the word shockwave in them and comparisons to Patrick Viera when it comes to the Ibrox club’s basic buys.
On last night’s Superscoreboard we were treated to an absolutely outstanding performance from Billy the Gers fan who tried diminish Celtic’s signing, talking about old Rangers splashing the cash and then having a go at Marks and Spencers! Well worth a listen!
