Philippe Clement faced a challenging day as his Rangers team was defeated by Celtic for the fourth time this season, the third under his watch, in the Scottish Cup final.

Celtic TV commentary team felt little sympathy for the manager, seeing it as an opportunity to take a dig at his comments from the past few weeks.
As they awaited Celtic captain Callum McGregor to lift the trophy, commentator Gerry McCulloch commented on the recurrent theme of a rebuilding at Rangers. He said from the commentary box: “Philippe Clement talks about how it’s the end of a cycle, the end of an era, for the Rangers team and it needs to be a rebuild. That seems to happen every season.”
‘losers medals’
‘happens every year’
God bless Celtic TV 😭

It does seem to happen every season. Maybe next season we’ll see the real Rangers after they attempt to complete yet another rebuild in the summer.
The gap is massive at the moment, and there is not a chance Celtic stand still this summer.
This is what Rodgers has achieved with Postecoglou’s squad, imagine the heights Celtic will reach when he gets his players in that suits his style.
