Contrary to circulating rumours, Liel Abada has not been offered a new deal on his existing Celtic contract this summer, according to Football Scotland.

The 21-year-old winger has been rumoured to be on the move from Parkhead this summer, with a purported price tag of over £10 million attached to his name.
His current contract, which extends until 2026, gives Celtic the leverage to demand a significant transfer fee, given the attention he is attracting from across Europe, including interest from Premier League clubs.
However, reports suggesting that the forward, who chalked up an impressive 12 goals and five assists under the management of Ange Postecoglou last season despite struggling for starts, has turned down a fresh contract offer, are believed to be misinformed.

Insiders have clarified to Football Scotland that no such contract offer has been made to Abada by the club in the recent past.
But, CeltsAreHere understands Brendan Rodgers will sit down with Liel when the squad returns and gauge where his head is at before making a final decision on his future. He knocked back a contract back at the end of 2022 at the same time as Giakoumakis.
Liel Abada is a player who could be set to leave Celtic this summer, with incoming Marco Tilio a potential replacement on the right wing. [Read More Here]
