The 21-year-old has been a great addition to the Celtic side, arriving as one of Ange Postecoglou’s first signings just 18 months ago. He featured heavily last season, ending it with some terrific numbers, despite starting the term as a teen. He racked up 26 goals and assists and was awarded the young player of the year.

This year he’s still played an important role in the side, with Postecoglou relying on the player to create some magic for the side. So far, since August, he’s got 13 goal involvements in 27 appearances.

It’s not just his numbers that are great, it’s the player’s play which is impressive. He’s always looking to beat his man and have a pop at goal or lay it off to a teammate; he’s been crucial at some points, popping up with some vital, much-needed goals.

Uefa has certainly been admiring the Israeli international’s rise, naming him on the list alongside some top young talents in Europe’s best leagues.

Abada was the first name on the 40-player list.
