Celtic were training at Paradise on Monday morning before they took the short trip up the M8 to Glasgow Airport to catch a flight to Rome.

After a draw against Motherwell on Saturday, the Hoops have to dig deep in Italy to come away with anything. Especially with no fewer than three first team wingers out of contention.
As the players were put through their paces today, the Celtic media team shared some snaps with the support and we couldn’t help but notice the nasty looking face injury Liam Scales is sporting.
The Irishman picked up a nasty knock during the Motherwell game, down for over five minutes being treated by the Celtic physios. Because of the result, the incident seemed to pass everybody by, but Liam has the battle scar to prove he was in the trenches.
Liam has been the surprise package of this season. The defender went from heading for the Parkhead exit to a big part of Rodgers’ first team plans.
The big man will be on the flight to Rome and will most likely start alongside CCV on Tuesday evening.
