BARRY FERGUSON has spent his days in lockdown talking to Peter Martin and Roughy on PLZ Soccers Live facebook discussions and something popped out of left-field today with regards to his nephew, Lewis Ferguson.
Pundits were praising Ferguson’s progress at Aberdeen and wondered if a move to Celtic could be viable for the player one day if he continues to improve.
Lewis is the son of staunch, former Gers player Derek Ferguson and also has Barry Ferguson for an uncle.
Asked if Lewis would consider a move to Celtic if the Scottish Champions did make a move, Barry seemed taken aback but didn’t rule it out.
“Of course he would consider it. It’s a big club,” Ferguson told PLZ as cited by RecordSport.
“Would I talk to him again? I’d need to think about that!

“He’s the type of boy that it wouldn’t faze him. It wouldn’t bother him about his dad playing at Rangers and obviously his uncle playing for Rangers.
“If it was the right fit for him, Lewis has got to look out for his own future so if Celtic came in I think he would have to consider it.”
It’s safe to say Lewis is a Gers fan and comes from a Gers family. It would be seen as a big move, when you remember all the commotion surrounding Scott Allan signing for the club.
If I was a betting man, I’d say Lewis would be favourite to turn up at Ibrox if he was to move to another Scottish Club.
