Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has shared a snap on social media of himself with Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi as the player enjoys some down time because of the football shut down.

Leigh and his teammates were all set for a Glasgow Derby at the weekend but the coronavirus outbreak put stop to the whole season and the players were given three days off.

Leigh looks to have travelled to Aberdeen to see the gig which took place on Sunday evening.

Capaldi is a massive Celtic fan and he seems to clutching a Celtic top as the pair share a snap.

Leigh has likely signed a jersey for the singer.

With the current outbreak, it’s probably not advisable for any of our players to be at large gatherings. We hope Leigh took proper care and was maybe away from the crowds as he watched the singer on stage.

With the virus spreading quickly, it only takes one of our players to show symptoms before the whole team would need to self isolate.
