Neil Lennon and Chris Davies seemed to get into it at full time after a pulsating match which ended 4-2 to the double treble champions.
Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon and his assistant manager Gary Parker got into it with Davies after Celtic’s fourth goal, and at full time there were no handshakes between them.
Neil Lennon went into his post-match interview absolutely livid, claiming Celtic had twelve men on their side with the referee and Celtic defender Filip Benkovic should have been sent off in the dying embers of the game.
Neil was then questioned about the touchline grievance and was very salty towards the journalist asking the question.
The Lurgan man wears his heart on his sleeve, but there’s no excuse for the sort of things he was hitting out with in the aftermath of his side’s defeat. It was very poor to see from the former Celtic captain.
Celtic won fair and square on the day, and nobody should begrudge Rodgers side of the victory after the tremendous attacking play that was on display throughout the match.
Celtic fans have been speculating on what happened on the touchline to provoke such an emotional response from the Hibs boss.
Anybody notice Lennon at the end with Davies ?
