The speculation surrounding a Celtic move for Greg Taylor has intensified in the past couple of days. The defender has been on the Hoops radar for a while but with the window closing in nine days time, it’s tome to put up or shut up.

RecordSport revealed this week Celtic haven’t put a bid in for the player but asked Kilmarnock how much they wanted for their defender and the response was reportedly £3m.

The same report is now claiming Greg Taylor has dropped out of training with Killie amid the interest ahead of the game against Aberdeen.

The paper reports the player is complaining of a hamstring problem but believes this could be a plot to push through a move.

Taylor is keen to to talk to Celtic and wants the opportunity to explore the transfer.

With the clock running down, Celtic need to get a move on. They were linked with Birger Meling last week and since then that move has gone very cold.
