Lennon Is Starting To Put His Own Marker Down With Team Changes

We have speculated since Neil Lennon returned to Celtic Park that he might bring back a formation with two strikers on the park. Lennon did say in his first media outings he wouldn’t be rushing in to make any crazy changes.

But, as we understand it, Lennon will start with Burke and Edouard today at Easter road. It isn’t clear if they will play as an out and out two up top, but Burke won’t be replacing James Forrest. He could be used to play in the whole with the likes of Rogic, Christie and McGregor all still missing through injury.

We understand that Lustig is to return to the back four which is a strange one when you consider John McGinn admitted Hibs players were told to target Celtic’s left flank.

Lennon is playing his second game in Edinburgh in a few days after he left the capital under a cloud last month when he and Hibs parted ways.

We will have the official team news when it comes out but it will be good to see Lennon imprint his ideas on the team. Nobody knows this Hibs team weaknesses as the Irish man.
