NEIL LENNON has told Celtic fans that he’s delighted with his star striker Odsonne Edouard but more importantly the Frenchman is really happy with his form and life in Glasgow.
It’s important to remember the player doesn’t seem in a rush to move on even though the media will play the who wants to buy Eddy game come January.
The Celtic gaffer has told supporters before under no circumstances does the striker leave in January and you have to take Neil Lennon at his word. For the gaffer, he can’t ask for more out of his frontman as we go into a heavy fixture period.
“I think he deserved the goals (vs County). Great to see him score a header again. He’s still young and still got more to come. We’re just really happy with him and he seems really happy with his form and obviously life here in Glasgow.” Lennon told CelticTV.
Right now, Eddy is the only real viable option up front with Lennon not happy with Leigh Grifftiths’ fitness and Bayo still very raw.
Edouard will line up for the bhoys against Lazio on Thursday night and hope to add to him already impressive goal tally this season.
