Neil LENNON has made some big calls for the semi final this evening but one thing has caught the eye and that’s Forster in goals.
You may wonder why but Craig Gordon was given the game against Partick Thistle in the cup when Fraser was number one with the Celtic manager insisting Gordon needs games and he did nothing wrong when he was in goals before Fraser had come back on loan.
This led to the assumption, like Rodgers last season when he played Scott Bain throughout the whole League Cup – Lennon would do the same with Gordon.
The squad came out around 4pm today and Forster was back in for the bhoys with Gordon on the bench.
Craig is approaching the last six months of his Celtic deal and if he’s intimated he’s not going to re-sign then Neil Lennon might have took the decision with that in mind.
