KYOGO and his Celtic teammates suffered defeat in Germany despite drawing level with the Leipzig in the second half. The game ended 3-1 and now makes the Hoops next two games at home absolutely vital.
Leipzig managed to recover from a very early set back when they lost their captain Peter Gulacsi in the first ten minutes of the tie. The goalkeeper went down in a lot of pain after trying to quickly clear the ball from a Celtic press.
The result was the goalie being stretchered off. Leipzig updated their supporters tonight on their captain and it isn’t good news.
However, the club used a picture of the player down injured with a concerned Kyogo checking on Peter. The Japanese striker was keen to see how the goalkeeper was and comforted him while he was being tended to by Leipzig doctors. It was another classy moment from the Hoops star.
The announcement that Gulacsi has an ACL injury means the goalkeeper will be out for a considerable amount of time. The goalkeeper is most certainly out of the return tie next week in Glasgow.

Celtic have their own injury concerns with their captain after Callum went off in the first half with a knee injury. Ange seemed downbeat about Callum’s injury after the game and we now hold our breath to see what the damage is.
Callum was suspended for the game against St Johnstone this weekend, so he was always going to miss it. However, it remains to be seen if he could be out for a prolonged period of time.
