Celtic made hard work if their victory over Motherwell on Saturday afternoon, but the same can’t be said for RB Leipzig who thrashed Vfl Bochum 4-0.
The two sides are set to meet each other in the Champions League. The bhoys will travel over to Germany next week hoping to cause a shock in the competition and maybe get their first win.
However, it’s not going to be an easy tie. Leipzig were in top form on Saturday. A brace a piece for Timo Werner and Christopher Nkunku made sure of all three points and set them up nicely for Celtic’s visit.
In comparison, Celtic were wasteful and sloppy at times against Motherwell. They Bhoys deserved to win the game, but they had to work incredible hard to make sure of the three points.
Leipzig will fancy their chances against Celtic. It’s up to Ange’s men to prove them wrong.
If Real Madrid get two wins against Shakhtar, second and third are both there for the taking.
