LEIGH GRIFFITHS has sent a social media warning out to the people who are sticking the boot into him while he is in recovery.

The Celtic striker has bravely taken a step back from the game to sort himself and his life out.

Since Brendan Rodgers announced the news, there has been an outpouring of support from all walks of life for the Celtic player.

Celtic fans unveiled a banner at the recent game against Salzburg which read ‘It’s ok not to be ok’.

However, there have been some who have been sticking the boot in like certain members of a fanbase from Govan along with a former SPFL chief.

Leigh is currently receiving as much help as possible with the club backing him all the way, his post perhaps just a reminder to all he will get better and when he does ‘watch out’.

We wish Leigh all the best in his recovery, and if anyone is taking any pleasure out of his current plight, they have their own issues.
