LEIGH GRIFFITHS has sent a video of himself and his Celtic teammates working hard in the gym during the international week after the player’s future was again subject of much online chat.
The Celtic striker made his long-awaited return to the first team at the start of the season but due to a couple of factors including injury and a virus – the player hasn’t been able to keep up to speed with his teammates.
Leigh has had to sit out for over a month now and watch Celtic go about their business. This prompted some on the media to question Leigh’s future at the club with one member of the press even asking if Celtic would consider sending him out on-loan – Neil Lennon shut that question down straight away.

The player taking the opportunity to let everybody know he’s in the gym and working hard – putting a ‘quiet down’ emoji onto the video – which might be directed at some people who are doubting he’ll be back in a Celtic jersey anytime soon and making up malicious rumours.
