FOUR Celtic players have been called up to the Scotland squad for next week’s international break and it’s a big return for Leigh Griffiths.
The striker has been included in the squad with fellow team-mates Ryan Christie, Greg Taylor and Callum McGregor.
Leigh has been fighting back to fitness ever since football’s restart. The striker was dropped by Celtic after his fitness was nowhere near good enough after lockdown.
To his credit, Leigh has worked had and is getting opportunities once again at club level, it was only natural Steve Clarke and Scotland would come calling.

Scotland are just one game away from the Euros and could make history by becoming the first Scotland team to qualify for a major tournament since 1998.
Could Leigh have a big say on proceedings?
Speaking about the striker’s qualities, Steve Clarke has praised the frontman for his quality.
