LEICESTER are reportedly not waiting until the summer to try and land the Celtic manager and apparently want him in place as soon as possible.

The media speculation has intensified in the past 24 hours, with many reports coming from down south the Foxes number one target is the Celtic manager.

Brendan was coy on the link at the weekend but if reports are true Leicester have made an enquiry or are about to.

Celtic are heading into an important run of fixtures and don’t need this type of speculation and sideshow as they compete for the league and Scottish Cup.

Nobody knows what Celtic and more importantly what Brendan Rodgers is thinking, and it would be in the best interests of everyone to show their hand as quick as possible before this descends into a farce.

Rodgers still has two and a bit years left on his deal and would cost Leicester a sizeable fee to sign the Celtic manager.
