Leaked Image: Celtic Set Up Trophy Day Surprise

A leaked image circulating online has given fans a first glimpse at what could be a tifo display planned for Celtic’s title-clinching fixture against St Mirren this Saturday.

The photo, taken from outside Celtic Park, shows what looks like a tifo layout covering either the full stadium or at least the entire main stand. With kick-off set for 12:30pm and the Premiership trophy presentation to follow, the setup has sparked speculation about a significant pre-match spectacle.

Some have suggested that it could even just be small champions flag for fans inside the ground.

There has been no official confirmation from the club, but the nature of the setup, its scale, it will be interesting to find out what it is.

The North Curve Green Brigade account posted the image on Friday evening confirming they were not involved in the display. The group, who have historically been behind many of Celtic Park’s most memorable tifos expressed frustration over being banned from creating their own at Celtic Park.

Saturday’s clash with St Mirren marks not just the end of the league campaign, but the moment Celtic lift the Premiership trophy in front of a packed home support.

It remains to be seen what the tifo will depict, but the scale of the operation and the timing of the leak have certainly peaked many people’s interest.

After the match, thousands of Celtic Park are set to descend on the city centre to party in the trongate area in what has become an unofficial annual event.
