LEAKS online for Celtic’s home shirt for next season have been inconsistent, to say the least.
The original leak showed an iconic flashback to the original Hoops shirt, with the Celtic and Adidas badged white and on a white Hoop.
Then, out of the blue, another shirt was leaked and was quite different from what fans were expecting. The green Hoops are designed like the famous stained glass window at Celtic Park and will probably be the kit Celtic use next year.
The flashback kit will still be hitting the shelves, CeltsAreHere.com can understands. The design will celebrate 120 years of playing in the green and white hoops and will be released as a special shirt – but a date has not been decided for its release.
Of course, Celtic changed from their stripes to the iconic green and white Hoops in 1903, and the club will celebrate that next season, with the special shirt.
It’s great to know that the top is real, and fans can buy it, but it’s disappointing that we can’t wear this for a full season.
Adidas have already leaked Celtic’s third shirt, which got differing opinions on Social Media, and leaks suggest that Celtic’s away top could be black, but it’s not clear what the secondary colour will be.
