Celtic are working very busy behind the scenes trying to tie players up on new deals.
The club are already in deep talks with Tom Rogic, Stuart Armstrong, James Forrest, Scott Brown and Dedryk Boyata and you can now add Leigh Griffiths to that list after the striker let slip he and the clubs are in talks.
”My representatives are working behind the scenes to try and get me a new deal,” admitted Leigh.
“Why would you want to go anywhere else? You are playing at a top club with a top manager in front of 50,000 or 60,000 every week.”
Celtic fans will be delighted the striker sees his long term future at the club and will hope to see more follow suit once Leigh’s deal is concluded.
