Celtic fans will be hoping Adidas put a bit of thought into Celtic’s final jersey design for next season after seeing this outstanding effort for Ajax.

The Ajax third jersey is paying homage to Bob Marley and has ‘three little birds’ emblazoned on the jersey – a tune the Ajax fans regularly sing home and away.

The Celtic jerseys went down a treat this season with Adidas keeping it simple for the most part. We’ve already seen two jerseys dropped in recent times that the club will wear next season.

It just leaves the away top as a mystery and I wonder if Adidas will draw from inspiration from the support to give us something a bit special.

Usually there’s a nod to past jerseys to help sales. It would be the easiest way to move the needle for Adidas.

Given we have our standard green and white hoops and a dark green effort for the third kit, it’s more than likely we’ll get a bright number for the away jersey.

We’re thinking bumblebee or something along those lines. Bright and in your face!
