Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke, who joined the club from Elfsborg in the summer, seems set for a January departure.
Italy was billed as a potential destination for the Swedish internationalist, but a recent update has been given on his future.
Per RecordSport (X), Lagerbielke is no closer now to a Parkhead exit than in recent weeks. He will be allowed to leave on loan if the deal is right, but it may not happen until later this month.
The player will be as eager as ever to get minutes having made just nine appearances in Hoops since moving to Glasgow in August of last year.

Considering teams tend to panic more towards the end of the window and make loan deals when other transfer plans fail, it is understandable that a Lagerbielke exit may not take place until later on in January.
Brendan Rodgers will want to get him out of Lennoxtown and regularly playing because there is a wealth of options at the heart of the defence. Cameron Carter-Vickers is a mainstay whilst Liam Scales has been at the top of his game this season.
Maik Nawrocki has come back into the fray recently, and Stephen Welsh is an adequate option when fit.
Lagerbielke appears to be below all of these Bhoys in the pecking order, hence a likely January exit.
