Kyogo Furuhashi played a pivotal role in Celtic’s 3-2 victory over St Mirren on Saturday, scoring the second equaliser that set the stage for Luis Palma’s late winner.

The Japanese striker has contributed 14 goals in league play and regaining his top form just in time for the final stretches of the campaign.
The match against St Mirren saw Celtic twice come from behind to secure the win. After Mark O’Hara opened the scoring for St Mirren early in the game, Matt O’Riley levelled the score. However, Celtic faced another setback when Stephen Welsh conceded a penalty, which O’Hara converted. Undeterred, Kyogo brought Celtic level once again before Palma clinched the victory with a goal in the 86th minute, ensuring that Celtic maintained their momentum ahead of next week’s critical Scottish Cup final.
Kyogo’s recent surge in form is a positive sign as the team prepares for their final match of the season against rivals Rangers at Hampden Park.
Looking forward to the Scottish Cup final, Kyogo took to Twitter to express his determination and rally the fans, writing: “I’ll do my best in the finals too. Let’s fight together.”
